SCOTT HERRMANN
Scott Herrmann is the Founder and Managing Partner of Blue Dun Partners. With more than 25 years of real estate experience, he’s led the development of office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and residential projects across the Pacific Northwest and Southeast. Scott has spent time with institutional development, investment, and brokerage firms in St. Louis, Seattle, and Charlotte. He holds a degree in Economics from DePauw University and is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina.

Based in Charlotte, Scott enjoys traveling to keep up with his five kids, fly fishing, long walks, and a steady rotation of podcasts. A lifelong coach, he’s now most often found calling plays from the couch.
CHARLIE HERRMANN
Charlie Herrmann began his career at Northmarq in Charlotte, NC, where he focused on arranging debt and equity for residential and retail projects across the Carolinas. His time there gave him a strong foundation in capital markets and deal structuring. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for real estate, Charlie joined Blue Dun Partners, where he focuses on investment analysis and executing the firm's development and acquisition strategies. ​

Based in Charlotte, Charlie is an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast who loves to travel, run, fly-fish, or play golf. He's a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Business.
ADAM HERRMANN
Adam Herrmann brings nearly a decade of institutional real estate experience to Blue Dun Partners. Before joining the firm, he served as Vice President of Investments at Quarterra Group (formerly Lennar Multifamily), one of the nation’s largest multifamily developers. There, he helped capitalize more than $2 billion in development across both ground-up and acquisition strategies and played a key role in scaling the platform through strategic partnerships and marquee transactions.

Based in Denver, Adam lives with his wife and their yellow lab. When he’s not working, he’s usually chasing his wife down a ski slope or casting a fly on the river. He earned his degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Clemson University.

Our name, based on the classic dry fly pattern, represents the values that apply to both investing and fly fishing: precision, patience, and pattern recognition.
